David Pearl
David Pearl hails from Denver, Colorado, land of mountains and snow, where He began his musical adventures studying and performing classical music, rock and jazz. After graduating from the Music School at the University of Denver, he packed his bags and headed to New York City. The years since have seen him playing piano in concerts, recording and gigging from New York to California, Canada to Japan. He has composed and arranged in diverse styles, for piano, small groups and orchestras. He has been awarded grants from the New York State Council on the Arts, recorded several recent compact discs with both singers and instrumentalists, and has had his transcriptions and arrangements published in many music books and magazines.
